Providing online therapy to individuals across the lifespan.

Welcome!

I’m Shelby, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s stressors and learn to manage mental health challenges. I provide virtual therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

I offer a safe, welcoming, and collaborative space for people across the lifespan who are seeking to strengthen their mental health and relationships. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing life transitions, anxiety and mood disorders, identity exploration, and feelings of overwhelm in the face of everyday demands.

My approach is grounded in a social justice–oriented framework, honoring the ways that identity, relationships, and systemic inequities shape our lived experiences. I am an LGBTQIA+– and neurodivergent-affirming therapist, and I strive to create an environment where all parts of you are respected, valued, and supported.

Together, we’ll explore your story, deepen your understanding of patterns, and develop practical tools to support meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you reconnect with your inner compass, build insight into what may be holding you back, and move toward a life that feels authentic and aligned.

  • My approach is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I believe growth happens within a safe, attuned relationship, and I invite you to bring your full self - questions, fears, hopes, and all - into the space. Together, we’ll explore patterns, deepen insight, and build tools that support you in navigating your life more effectively.

I believe therapy should offer both insight and action. In our work, we’ll not only explore the “why” behind your experiences, but also develop practical, meaningful strategies you can use in your day-to-day life.

As an integrative therapist, I don’t believe there is a single formula for healing; no one modality holds all the answers. My role is to thoughtfully tailor different approaches to your unique strengths, goals, and lived experience. I most often incorporate concepts and interventions from modalities including Narrative therapy; Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems therapy. I’m constantly learning and incorporating new ideas into my practice. I also believe in the importance of making space for laughter in the work that we do together.

Finding the right therapist isn’t about choosing the perfect modality—it’s about finding the right fit.

Studies demonstrate that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important predictors of successful therapy.
